Painting Based On Kohli’s Journey Sold In 23 Crores

When it comes to the IPL or any other format for that matter, Virat Kohli is one of the most exquisite batsmen in his day. He is known for his aggression and zeal to win every match that he plays. It has been amazing for fans to watch him captain the RCB side for almost six years in a row now. His unbelievable strike rate and amazingly efficient captaincy have made him a real threat to every bowler.

Virat Kohli has also been the brand ambassador for MRF tyres and has been a part of other major endorsements as well. Recently, Virat Kohli has been rampant in the news for his big endorsement deals and the best thing about the current Captain of the Indian cricket team is that he is also actively involved in social service and charity work. He actively participates in blood bank drives, teaches at renowned NGO’s and other social events. He recently set up a foundation called the Virat Kohli foundation, mainly for the purpose of carrying out social work in both rural and urban areas of the major metropolitan cities.


Just recently, a painting that mainly highlights the entire IPL Journey of Kohli over the last 10 years was purchased by a British Indian entrepreneur Poonam Gupta, who is the CEO of PG Papers, a company that is based in Scotland. The painting was artistically made and developed by Sasha Jaffrey. This painting was bought for a whopping 2.9 million pounds which is about 23 crores when converted during a charity dinner that was organized by VKF foundation.


Sasha is one of the most popular, renowned and most awarded painters of the present times. He has also worked with stars like Yuvraj Singh, MS Dhoni and David Beckham their charity work. This is seriously a priceless possession to own.
